Forgot to add that I eagerly await a copy of FC5 and if possible could one be sent to me ma and one extra to me. Regarding paypal I was daunted as I am by anything that smells of technology but in fact its utterly simple and easy to use. If I say that believe me its true. You just use your email address once its set up and in goes the cash.

I'm sure you're right, Craig. Right now, though, I'm too exausted to even think about it - I'm just hoping the contributor's copies reach them before the next postal strike (I had a phone call recently from a London address telling me that a letter I'd sent weeks ago had only just arrived.) Reasons for exhaustion and frayed nerves? See the PM I sent you while you were making your post. Otherwise, though, mood could be described as cheerfully determined.

New address received, Noah, thanks. I had posted out a handful of FC 5's and TTMC 1 reprints, as some will already know. Today I collected a bundle of professionally-printed FC 5's from the Cornwall College Print. The printer had used his initiative and chosen to print the interior of the magazine completely black and white, to keep cost down. The cover is still colour. This reduced the cost to about 1/5 of what it had cost to produce at home. Of course, I regret losing the tinted illustrations and colour adverts for small-press books and mags; but pro-printing gives FC a better chance of survival. Other things happening here: Been reading stories entered for the Cafe Doom 5th Anniversary Competition (you might need to be a member for that link to work). I've read 9 stories so far. The thread (which seems endless) will be up for about 2 weeks. I've been reading Charles Black's Fifth Black Book of Horror. Unsurprisingly, it's another great read. More on that later. Actually, better cut this post short before it turns into a list.
