Hey, Albie, I'm sure I've seen you and your artwork on another board I frequent - not sure where though. Your work is definitely "naughty" (deviant art is an appropriate name for the site! ), but I do like your style. Good stuff!

When I first saw the one above, it gave me a fit of the giggles. The one below, I like the most - though whether 'like' is the right word, I'm not sure. Some of these definitely tip toe past my inner censor on hob-nail boots. Technically, they're good. But there's a small voice insisting that you're obviously insane. I wonder if you ever encountered Noah Brown? Now there'd be a meeting to die for... Didn't like the Freddy Kreuger one, by the way.

I like the second one in the first post. One, im not that fond of zombies erect penises and two, that guy on the left is freaky.

Hey Albie, welcome. Your art is phenomenal, I'm totally bowled over by it. It needs no censorship as far as I'm concerned, but then I'm not keen on censorship in reading material either. I don't think you're mad, just slightly off-kilter.....

Thanks for allowing the photons my art produces to enter your eyes. It's all a scientist can ask.
Unless any of you have ever thought "Hey, I wish I had the head of a toothless tramp stitched onto my neck to take over my chewing duties."
Because Gappy McSuckgums is all for it.

I'm going along with Calenture's view that you are definitely insane - or maybe too sane. The cosmic theme of life and death is the ultimate driving force behind art for me. The fact that these works seriously disturb me is an enormous factor in suggesting they are excellent art. The fact that you present them in a kind of silence followed by an enigmatic teaser is the thing that makes me think you're off your trolley

I agree that these pictures are disturbing. I also agree that they're art. The first two seem to be ilustrations for a story that just begs to be written. I downloaded the first two to Photoshop and found that the first is titled Time for Love and the second Wake Up Corpsy - even more disturbing, that. Albie, Coral's told me that you hang around the Ramsey Campbell board sometimes. I've been trying to figure out what medium you used. Looks like oils?

Oil. BUt the original piece has been darkened with Gimp2. Which I think greatly improved them, as it may well do for all art. The others are biro and gel pen I have schitzotypal personality disorder. Which means I'm insane and sane at the same time. That's how I see it. Or I actually can see the future. All I see is me eating buns, though. That's the problem when you are psychic and never actually do anything. Nothing to report back.
I do get delusions, which I hope to turn into stories. Yes, I've been published a tiny bit. Haven't we all? Famous for fifteen minutes for fifteen people. That's the internet for you.
Ramsey Campbell? Yes. I used to go there. No longer, as I am the king of loss and require constant grief to fire my black eyed view of the world.

I hope you don't mind me adding this Albie 'Schizotypal personality disorder, or simply schizotypal disorder, is a personality disorder that is characterized by a need for social isolation, odd behavior and thinking, and often unconventional beliefs.' Probably most of us here could neatly join this throng. I certainly could, but if you dig deeper it appears to be much more comprehensive and serious in its implications than mere eccentricity. Your art is arresting, Albi and that last phase you used I am the king of loss and require constant grief to fire my black eyed view of the world
is also reminiscent of great art. At once I pity and envy the hard path that you have been bequeathed.
