I've just been having a look at the InkerMen's site. Quoted from the site: "InkerMen Press is an independent publisher specializing in works of supernatural and alternative fiction, plays and poems. IMP also publishes innovative critical and theoretical texts in The Axis Series. Their 'About Us' page lists many interesting names: Aylmer Vance, Algernon Blackwood, Oliver Onions, many gothic writings, Mary Shelley, Katherine Briggs, W H Hodgson. It's certainly an interesting page, and this publisher seems aimed very clearly at - how can I put it? - the thoughtful reader? And they will be publishing D F Lewis's Weirdtongue in October 2010. Click image to visit the page. Visit the Narrative Hospital, the Glistenberry Festival and the killing under-fields of Middle Europe, in the company of Blasphemy Fitzworth the Victorian cats-meat man. Nothing however can describe the experience of this novella and its various characters or scenes. Furthermore, it gradually teaches a new language of the mind called Weirdtongue.
A marriage between the InkerMen and the Constant Writer, D F Lewis, seems something inevitable. And I hope wonderful. In any case, I think becoming a friend of the InkerMen is probably a good idea - certainly if you're a writer or a reader of supernatural fiction. You can also find them at MySpace: www.myspace.com/inkermenpress
