I have to say, we have a sexy little number lined up for everyone here, don't we Coral? ;D I must also say that I don't really feel as though I've pulled my weight - Coral's the one who's done all the hard work here. Thanks, Coral - you're a star! I've been tied up with work, etc, so it's Coral who's done all the hard work - setting up the website, putting together the zine, etc. Perhaps you should just call me "associate editor" or something like that?

Is that right? Well, as we're apportioning praise here, I think everyone should be bearing in mind that without Caroline TTMC would have ceased after the first issue. Without her enthusiasm, support, advice and suggestions, I quite simply wouldn't have the heart to do it. I like to be part of a team. And don't forget, mrs C, how you've managed to squeeze reading and assessing submissions, promoting, scouting and researching etc into a schedule already bursting at the seams without this extra work. At the end of the day we've scooped some fairly brilliant new female talent, as well as some already established authors, so the job's done, and WE have done it well. So ner ner ner. Ooo look a kissy emoticon, that's well groovy

Aw, you're so sweet! Fellas - just avert your eyes for a moment while Coral and I do a little girly hugging ... I must say, I'm looking forward to seeing issue 2 in the flesh. And here's to issue 3 after that as well ....

Excellent, Ben - hey, Coral, we've got someone who wants to read this! In fact, I'm sure Coral won't mind me letting the cat out of the bag by telling you that we've added a further story to the above line-up. We now have featured author, BFS stalwart, Marie O'Regan. Brilliant!

This is the cover for issue 2 of The Thinking Man's Crumpet, drawn by Rog Pile and Coral King, from an original idea by Coral King. Seem to be a lot of creepy crawly things around here lately, which does my arachnophobia no good at all...

That's a superb cover, Rog - thanks ever so much for that. Can't wait to see the zines in the flesh (so to speak) when Coral's printed them. Mind you, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to touch a copy - I'm terrified of snakes, and pretty queasy about worms too!

I'm printing them now, they will be in the post next week. Roger drew 99.9% of the cover, super isn't it?

TA-DAH...!!! Only very slightly overdue and hot off the press, here it is at last. Pre-orders, contributors copies and chums copies are being slotted into plain brown envelopes as we speak. It's unlikely that anyone here DOESN'T know what it's all about, but if you don't, click on the freewebs link below. Proof is here:

I don't want to give away too much yet as some copies are in the post, but my feeling was that its style and content probably bear comparison to Des' Lewis's Nemonymous anthologies.
