I have a couple of people who have expressed an interest in buying TTMC 4, (and who knows, perhaps some other copies?). They're just friends and family who were probably only being polite, but I need an address and a price to put up on my blog for them. Thanks very much :-)

Hello there! Just registered with the forum (nice to see some familiar names from Horrorwriters.net!) mainly to say thanks to Coral for publishing my story Inner Demons in TTMC4. Got my contributor's copy (plus Filthy Creations - bargain!) and am very impressed with both publications.

No. Pure Scottish
But as Churchill said
'Of all the small nations of this earth, perhaps only the ancient Greeks surpass the Scots in their contribution to mankind'

Welcome to the board, Anthony and Reg. I told Coral earlier that you'd both turned up, but her browser crashed. And now Rachel's demanding 110 percent of her attention (plus use of the laptop). She'll try again later. I'll have to leave the TTMC stuff to her. But I figured it was time I logged in again as I actually spent yesterday evening writing (quite a novel experience these days). And I wanted to say 'hi'. 'Of all the small nations of this earth, perhaps only the ancient Greeks surpass the Scots in their contribution to mankind' Craig, P G Wodehouse would never have accepted that a race credited with inventing golf could be second to any other.

OK. Finally persuaded Fluffy to stop dressing up fairies and let me make a post! Reg, I will be in Colwyn Bay next week if you want me drop some off at your Mum's, that would be shorter winded for you. Is she still at Tan Lan? Otherwise go the FC sales site as I haven't updated the TTMC website since issue 3, tut tut. I don't spend much time online. Welcome also Karswell. Your story seems to have gone down very well with readers so far, so no need for thanks. I am criticised for my unorthodox approach, but making a magazine that stands on the quality of the fiction itself, without the usual uninteresting blurb and layout really does work. I like to think I've proved that. Thanks Craig for reviewing 3 and 4, I'll put them in my next blog as I'm sure the contributors will be very interested to read them. I know exactly what you mean about Lobo's story. He has an atmosphere all of his very own that should improve with maturity, which is why I offered to publish it, there's great potential there. My fave piece of poetry so far in all the mags was yours in no. 3. I think poetry is the perfect vehicle for your rich way with words. Because it's compact you get a big hit of magic in a tiny space of reading time. There was no contact info in no. 4 as I had no intention of producing any more. However, my son informs me that he has written a story, hint hint, and would I like to read it, hint hint...so I may be doing a 5 after all. Nepotism? Yup. Me and mine; Anne Boleyn's motto and also my own. Admittedly, while Roger's illustrations are completely fabulous, the poor chap is somewhat overloaded with work the majority of the time, so I can't really demand more of them. I did love his ancient military uniforms which Duff described as ice cream cones, hee. The main problem is that submissions of artwork tend to be almost non existent. Perhaps I should have an art drive? I've been blathering so long I've forgotten the purpose of this post, so I'll go away and think about it and come back when I've remembered. Oh, the nepotism. I have a rigid code of acceptance for submissions ie the fiction must be OUTSTANDING. Full stop. In the beginning Steve Goodwin advised me to accept things from "nice" people. I suppose that's because he's a nice person. I, on the other hand, have absolutely no problem being nasty and saying no. Having said that I have once printed something I was less than happy with when it was presented to me while in a weakened state. What was I saying? Oh yes. My son's story will be printed regardless of whether it's suitable or not. Because I can.

Usual Scottish arrogance. We claim to have invented nearly everything. I was comparing us to the Greeks because I am happy that anyone did. The Greeks were an astounding race and if I was rich I would be living there now digging up bits of pottery. I am obsessed with Athens 500BC so better not get me talking about it.

Coral, I'll be buying a couple for my family but I'll put the addresses on the order somewhere.
The submissions in both publications are of an outstandingly high quality and I can't help feeling like an impostor with my passionately armature offering, so thanks again for giving me the chance Coral.
BTW, craigherbertson, if I had known you were so pro-ancient Greece I might have changed it to Gordon's last stand at Khartoum, which is another episode in history that has captured my imagination. Whatever... any offence caused was purely though blind ignorance and definitely not on purpose; but you know that anyway :-)

^i always like the fact that at the time he was more known for exploits in China - 'China Gordan' etc. and it's only in more modern times that the Sudan bit is all most people know about him.

Yes benedict, The Ever victorious Army should really have defined his life, unfortunately the debacle in Sudan has eclipsed his exploits in China.
Well, I'm glad to know that you're "unoffendable" Craig, lol. Richard Burton is an author that nobody knows but everyone has read at one point in his, (or her) life. But I can#t say that I've followed his work, as it were.
