That screen grab was of me experimenting to get the hang of the program. Now whether star of screen and page, Holly Martins, will deign to have his work appear in our magazine, only time will tell. (Probably not, as that story in the screen grab has been seen before.) What I like about Scribus is that it replicates pages and flows text through them in a way that the free version of PagePlus never did. It immediately speeds up the process. With PagePlus I, or Steve, had to fiddle for ages getting the pages right.

I finally got to read the first two chapters of The Death Tableaux thanks to Rog sending me copies. Looking forward to the rest being published so hopefully this comes out soon. Also read Strange Fruit which I enjoyed; especially the ending. I'll try to give the other stories a read too at some point. Not got a lot of time at the moment and wanted to start with Craig's stories but I'll try to post what my favourites are. I lack much reviewing ability and I haven't read a lot for a while now but I'll at least be able to say which ones I like the most.

Comments are like welcome oxygen in the vacuum that most writers inhabit, Adam. ;D

So true Rog. It's an absolute truism that until you start writing yourself you imagine writers being inundated with mail and only when you're into your twentieth year of publication it dawns on you that the most correspondence you get comes in the form of bills.
