Hello All, I'm Nathaniel Tapley, a comedy writer-performer, and I'm currently working on a comedy-horror podcast called In The Gloaming. I haven't had any stories published (although I think one is being used as part of Black Static's Advent Calendar). Anyway, just thought I'd say hello... N (Oh, if you'd like to listen to our podcasts the older episodes and more information are here: inthegloamingpodcasts.wordpress.com )

Hi Nathaniel, Welcome, and I hope you'll like it here. Thanks for the link - I'm a big fan of audio fiction, and there's a section here, Audio Fiction, which needs building up if you want to start a thread or add posts. Best, Rog

Hi Nathanial and welcome,
My myspace myspace.com/craigherbertson site has a song 'The Gloaming Hour'. The word is often used nowadays I think. Good luck with the comedy

Hello all, Robert from Australia (more specifically Melbourne) here. Erm...I like reading horror? All the usual writers, Lovecraft, Campbell, Hutson, the occasional King. Grew up on all the usual short horror anthologies as they made their way down here.
I've tried my hand at writing short horror fiction and had 6 or 7 published in 2009 on the internet. My biggest success was having a story published as an audio reading on Pseudopod.com Check out story 165, The Copse...if you dare!
Looking forward to reading lots of interesting stuff. Cheers!

I've just found myself materialize here without volition. Pehaps it will be just as easy to vanish when my time comes.

I was hoping to do a decent post here before shooting off to evening shift, but unfortunately the one I just stuck up at the Vault took longer then I thought (I'd told Dem' I'd post there if I read anything appropriate, and a Haining anthology seemed to fit the bill), so it'll have to wait till I come back. Apologies for the delay on continuing the They That Dwell in Dark Places thread.
Wrecked car problems sorted so no more cycling 12 miles a a day and NORA's happily departed this troubled house (god what next?) so let's hope things calm down for a decent period this time. In the meantime, I guess the introduce yourself thread is appropriate, as even I'm forgetting who I am.
Back this evening!

Er, who's NORA Rog? *scratches head* Nice to see you back again anyway. Hi Caroline, I suppose I should have explained that, but I'm so embarrassed/pissed-off at explaining the many absences that I decided to be a little cryptic. Anyway, after the car went West following its close encounter with a wall, I got the NORA virus (AKA Winter Vomiting Sickness or Norwalk virus), then I passed it to Coral (I'm not selfish), and naturally she ended up in Treliske again when she dehydrated so much from it that her kidney collapsed - temporarily, I hasten to add. You see why I prefer cryptic? Anyway, haven't disappeared again, just writing up more review stuff and working on a new page of the other site. Best, Rog
