It's been less "purged" than I expected. What was your original theory, then?

And now I'm confused once more! I'd hoped that Dem's rationalisation of the Vault would enable me to see what I'd been posting which was a problem. But if Dem is still welcoming new horror into the Vault, then what's the point of us splitting off from them? Surely we'll just be duplicating things?

Question of emphasis I think Caroline - what I always liked about the vault was that everyone was very pleasant. You didn't get the feeling it was a raw commercial venture with hidden motives - just a bunch of people who liked lurid covered books.
Inevitable offshoots - the films, and series, memorabilia of the times perhaps ran away with the core element. In the end, you would have to admit that people were doing some fairly hefty promotion of new horror (I include myself).
I would compare it to a little gun club who has a couple of members who win a trophy, justifiably showing off to their friends and colleagues. Next minute, trophy manufacturers, gun enthusiasts and salesmen, elephant hunters and soldiers are queueing up at the bar and the original members can't get a drink. There is nothing in the rules that denies these people and most of them are decent guys - the atmosphere of the club has unfortunately just wandered away.
