Right...this is the plan...me and my lady (Shalako-Lin) are flying back to the UK in May 2009 and buying a touring motorcycle and then we're off riding around the UK and thence on to Europe/Eastern Europe. Heading down to Romania, possibly overland to Jordan to visit Petra. Then back up and across to Italy/Tuscany/Sardinia/Corsica/France/Spain/Morocco/Portugal/ Spain and back to the UK. (if we manage half of that, we'll be well pleased.) Anyone with a motorcycle is welcome to join us. Even if it's just for some of the trip. Anyone is welcome to invite us to stop by for lunch or a drink. We don't have a firm plan...we'll just go where the wind takes us. We intend to camp as often as possible, to save money. Just thought I'd throw this info out here...in case anyone is desperate to meet a couple of middle aged motorcycle hooligans from Down Under. ;D (Ah...I mean an adventurous, refined couple, exploring the world on two wheeled steeds.) Yes, that's it! Cheers: Jaq and Lin.

I'm not a biker, I'm afraid - biking days long since gone! - but if you're in the West Yorkshire area - Ilkley Moor, that kind of area - we'd certainly offer you a drink or some such. It's a pity you're not here in August. Bank Holiday weekend in August sees the annual Harley Davidson riders gathering in our small village - you'd love that!

Actually Harley guys always give me funny looks. My bikes are always covered in mud and dust and dirt. (Quite often I am too.) ;D Even my road bikes look like that, let alone my off road bikes.
