When I tried oil sketching, I deliberately used very small pieces of canvas board as I was always skint, and small boards meant less spent on, um, board, and on the paint covering them. These are less than the size of an average postcard. Anyway, above is a little vision of Hell, and below is a sketch just called The Island.

Very nice work, Rog. Back in the days when I used to paint, I could never get to grips with oils, so I have a lot of admiration for anyone who can.
