anyone else a fan??
i have two of his short stories (which are actually more like novellas)
'black man with a horn' - new tales of the cthulhu mythos 'children of the kingdom' - dark forces
and they are both superb. i'm trying to get my hands on the other two which made up his collection 'dark gods' (which seems a bit difficult to come by in the UK) and i'm also looking to get his novel 'the ceremonies'.
any thoughts on him??

The Ceremonies is a great novel. One of the the few I've read a couple of times.

I read all of his professionally published work during the late 80s or early 90s (which wasn't hard, given his low output). Petey in Dark gods is brilliant, in fact, they're all brilliant in that collection. I'd love to get my hands on a copy of Events at Poroth Farm, which was published in the 70s and forms the basis for the longer The Ceremonies. He also edited The Twilight Zone Magazine in the early 80s (I have a copy of the last issue he did). I real shame he hasn't managed more fiction - while writers aren't machines, the quality of his work really shines through and more would be lovely.

I've fancied reading him for a while and the name rings a bell from a collection.

I read a couple of his stories way back now that I have dwelt on it. Unfortunately too long ago to remember anything about them
