CafeDoom writing comp

Hi, all. I followed the link from The Vault of Evil's Filthy Creations section, where I also posted this. I hope you don't mind me advertising the comp in this section. I wasn't sure where else to put it.

Our fifth annual short story writing comp is currently underway. It's free to enter, as always. The theme is open, but dark.

First prize is 5 cents a word and publication in Dark Discoveries.
Second is $100 Shocklines Voucher.
Third is $50 Shocklines Voucher.

In addition to this I'll be giving the authors of my three favourite stories a year's subscription to Dark Discoveries. James needs to sell 75 subscriptions by the end of this year to fund a pay rise for authors next year, so please consider buying one yourself, perhaps as a halloween gift for a loved one - they're only $22 a pop, so it won't break the bank.

I registered, but I have to wait for acount aproval . I'm thinking of sending my Crucifixtion story, but if someone else thinks there are better one's , I'm sure to listen to your advice

I dunno if youre evn gonna be on Ed, so I dunno if I should even ask about the magazine here .

I usually have a look in on places where I've posted details of the comp, just to make sure I haven't upset anybody by posting it, and also in case there are any questions.

I haven't read the story you mention, so I can't advise, not that I could anyway, being so closely involved with the comp. Good luck with it, though, whichever one you choose to send
