It looks like Panties has been hacked again! Message now on the site from Troo, while she tries to fix it: Website hacked yet again. We apologise for the hassle. It seems that Pantechnicon has become the target of script-kiddies who have nothing better to do than go around destroying other people's websites.
The damage should be repairable, but may take a few days to fix.
In the meantime, you may download PDF back-issues from the links in the menu on the left.
Thank you for sticking with us.
Trudi Topham, Editor, November 2008.
I hope she can put it right! The PDF's are fine, but this now means that my interviews with Charles Black and with Peter Duffell about "The House That Dripped Blood" - which didn't make it to the PDF - are completely unobtainable at present. Never mind. I still have them safely on disc here, so they're not gone for ever. Phew! Lobo - Pantechnicon is a not-for-profit free-to-download sf/fantasy/horror ezine which I'm a staff writer for (www.pantechnicon.net - when it's working). I mainly do interviews and articles, namely: INTERVIEWS Stephen Gallagher Ramsey Campbell DF Lewis Charles Black Peter Duffell (director) ARTICLES Bryan Talbot (artist) Ray Harryhausen I was going to do some links to my things there which might be of interest once I have a little time, but obviously I'll now have to wait till Troo's fixed this! Wow a Ray Harryhausen arcticle

ARTICLES Bryan Talbot (artist) Ray Harryhausen I was going to do some links to my things there which might be of interest once I have a little time, but obviously I'll now have to wait till Troo's fixed this! Wow a Ray Harryhausen arcticle Hiya Corpse! Didn't know you were a fan of Ray Harryhausen! I had the pleasure of meeting him twice - once was just a book signing, but he's a real gent and was lovely, and the other was an absolutely fascinating on-stage interview he gave about his work at the National Media Museum. The article I wrote for issue 1 of Pantechnicon was about an exhibition of his work (drawings, models, etc) which they had at the Museum - it was superb! (the exhibition, I mean - not my article!) I went back to see it several times over the months it was there - not just for my research for the article, but because it was so fascinating. I'm afraid the article isn't actually online as it was in Panties before we switched server and put everything online, but if you go to www.pantechnicon.net and download issue 1, you'll find it in there. It's probably not my best piece ever - it was my first! - but I'm reasonably proud of it, and it should be of interest to the Harryhausen fan. Hope you enjoy it!

Well, folks, Pantechnicon #9 is here at last! There have been plenty of trials and tribulations, tears and tantrums along the way, but we've done it. Well, there is still a slight hiccup - I'm afraid the PDF download isn't yet ready. But the stories are all there online, from our special bumper fiction-only edition. Go to www.pantechnicon.net to read them. Click the "Fiction" button on the menu bar at the top, or click the relevant story title as they each appear in the "Latest!" window at the top of the page. Contents below. The PDF download will be made available as soon as possible. Enjoy! Cover art: Richard Dyke "The Amber Room" - Ian Sales "Baby In The Snow" - Teresa Howard "This Place Sucks" - Steven Poore "Captain Bleak's Parrot" - Ian Whates "London Stone" - Jennifer Williams "N381 (Detour) - Benedict J Jones "On The Fringes" - J Kaval "The Devil In Chains, Part 2" - Adam Christopher "Tulpa" - David Brookes

Right-y-o Pantechnicon lovers everywhere - we've now got the PDF on site ready for download! Please see the "Latest News" box at the top of the page and access it from there. www.pantechnicon.netThere's still a slight technical hitch in that it isn't yet in the "Latest Issue" box - that's still the previous issue. But there's nothing to stop you downloading and reading that too if you haven't already done so! Hope you all enjoy reading Panties over Easter!

Cheers, Ben! You get as many people to read it as possible! Great story of yours in there, of course. As you know, I was particularly impressed with that one.
